I walked away in awe from these high school students.
We did it again!
It’s an incredible honor to be part of the American Heart Association NYC STEM Goes Red Executive Leadership Team—a mission that continues to inspire and empower. Under Liz Powitzky’s exceptional leadership, we raised the necessary funds to sponsor and host over 100 high school students from across NYC, guiding them toward impactful careers in STEM.
The event started with a heartfelt speaker, Maddi Niebanck, whose powerful personal story on living through a stroke during a procedure, set the tone for an unforgettable day of inspiration—her words reminded us all of the power of persistence, perseverance and desire to live a full life.
What struck me most? I walked away feeling deeply inspired and incredibly hopeful about the future. These students are not just dreaming of a better world—they are owning it. Their passion, focus, and courage reaffirm that the next generation is ready to lead with purpose and innovation.
If this mission resonates with you and you’re passionate about creating a brighter future—not just for the next generation, but for yourself—I’d love to connect. Whether it’s through mentorship, holistic healing, or simply finding ways to live your best life, let’s start the conversation. Feel free to reach out—I’m always here to share, learn, and grow together!
